Borgo Medievale di Torino
Borgo Medievale di Torino is an open-air museum on the banks of the Po River in Turin's Parco del Valentino, presenting full-scale reproductions of some of the finest medieval buildings of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta. Created for the 1884 General Exhibition of Italy, the village comprises a fortified rocca (castle), churches, towers, gates, and houses replicating those of cities and towns such as Avigliana, Bussoleno, Pinerolo, Mondovì, and Cuorgnè. The site is currently closed to the public for redevelopment under a PNRR-funded conservation project.
