Bussemakerhuis

Museum Bussemakerhuis in Borne is the only surviving and publicly accessible 18th-century linen merchant's house in the Netherlands and a designated rijksmonument. Often called the cradle of the Twente textile industry, it tells the story of linen production, fabrikeurs (textile manufacturers), the local Mennonite community and the Spanjaard family. The museum offers exhibitions, guided walks through Old Borne, and event space for meetings, weddings and gatherings.
