Hekinan Seaside Aquarium

Established in 1982, the HEKINAN SEASIDE AQUARIUM and the Hekinan Maritimes Science Museum take advantage of the essential maritime characteristics of Hekinan, a city bounded by the Yahagi River, Aburagafuchi Lake and Kinuura Port.The AQUARIUM showcases water creatures - not only local species but also other from various parts of Japan - while the Science Museum informs visitors about the water-relate environment, in both local and global terms.
