Cat Cabine

Het Kattenkabinet (The Cat Cabinet) is an art museum on Amsterdam's Herengracht devoted entirely to cats in art and culture. The collection spans paintings, drawings, sculptures and other artworks, with a particular focus on the role cats have played across centuries of European art history. Founded in memory of the founder's red tomcat John Pierpont Morgan, it offers self-guided visits as well as small-group guided tours in English by appointment.
