Computer Museum
The UvA Computermuseum at the University of Amsterdam was founded in 1991 by Edo Dooijes. The collection focuses on technical and scientific electronic computing equipment from World War II to the present, including mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic calculators, slide rules, accounting machines, and a Data Atelier capable of reading legacy media such as punched cards and paper tape. Visits are by written request and are typically scheduled once a month.
