Lock Museum

The Lock Museum in Seoul's Ihwa-dong neighbourhood is a charming small museum devoted to the art and history of locks and keys. Established by a passionate collector, the museum displays over 4,000 locks and keys gathered over 40 years, with approximately 400 items on permanent display. The collection spans traditional Korean locks, antique padlocks from around the world, and ornate decorative locks, offering a unique window into craftsmanship, security technology, and everyday material culture across centuries.
