Sumner Museum

The Museum opened in 1979 and is mainly upstairs in the old Sumner Borough Council Chambers. We hold Archives from 1883, also land deeds from 1851, plus many local diaries, photos, paintings, Maori artifacts, WWII records of this fortress area.
