Annex of National Hangeul Museum
The Annex of the National Hangeul Museum in Seoul is dedicated to the Korean Hangul script and its cultural heritage. The museum presents the history and development of Hangul, the writing system created by King Sejong the Great in the 15th century, through interactive exhibitions and educational programmes. The main museum is currently closed for fire damage recovery and expansion construction until the latter half of 2028, with exhibitions conducted in external spaces in the interim.
