Jakų radijo stotis
The Jakų Radio Station Exhibition (Jakų radijo stotis) is a branch of the Gargždai Regional Museum, housed in the historic Jakai Radio Station building constructed in 1935. This striking building is one of the few remaining examples of interwar modernist architecture in the Klaipėda District, and it commemorates a significant chapter in Lithuanian history — the integration of the Klaipėda Region into Lithuanian cultural and public life. The exhibition traces the evolution of radio and communications technology through a rich collection of authentic objects, including radio receivers from different eras, gramophones, transistor radios, and audio, measurement, and playback devices, inviting visitors to experience how radio shaped everyday life and connected communities.
