Dunedin Gasworks Museum
The Dunedin Gasworks Museum preserves New Zealand's first and last gasworks and is one of only a few preserved gasworks museums in the world. The site interprets the history of gas production, distribution and domestic use, and houses original machinery, a Victorian blacksmith's forge and supports community markets and beginner blacksmithing classes.
