House of Chiune Sugihara

The Sugihara House in Kaunas, Lithuania, is a museum dedicated to Japanese diplomat Chiune Sugihara and Dutch honorary consul Jan Zwartendijk, commemorating their heroic efforts to save Jewish lives during World War II in 1940. The museum is housed in the former Japanese consulate where Sugihara issued thousands of transit visas.
