Baltų žolynų muziejus

The Baltic Herb Museum (Baltų žolynų muziejus) is a unique Lithuanian garden museum in Naisiai, large enough to be visible from space. Opened in 2014, it is an 85-metre-long, 40-metre-wide gene-pool garden in the form of a traditional distaff, divided into three sections: sacred herbs used in rituals, household herbs used for healing and cooking, and cultural flowers including Lithuanian varieties of lilies, peonies, dahlias and irises. The museum was established with assistance from botanical garden specialists at Šiauliai University.
