Alūksne Narrow Gauge Railway Station

The Alūksne Narrow Gauge Railway Station (Alūksnes Bānīša Stacija) is a multimedia exhibition in the historic baggage building of Alūksne's railway station, showcasing the story of the only regularly operating narrow-gauge railway in the Baltic region. Visitors discover this industrial heritage through personal narratives, historical photographs, and video accounts across ten interactive stations. The exhibition, designed by H2E, received multiple national and international awards and was nominated for the European Museum of the Year Award in 2022.
