Baldone Museum

In 2018, Baldone Museum found a new home at the beautiful and historic Mercendarbe Manor, located 4 kilometres from the centre of Baldone.

The museum’s priority is to explore and promote the history of Baldone and its surroundings. The museum offers a permanent exhibition about the history of Baldone; in addition, a number of temporary exhibitions dedicated to local history are organised each year. The manor house also has enough space to receive travelling exhibitions and exhibitions of paintings and artefacts by artists and art collectors.

Mercendarbe Manor also serves as venue for different events in the fields of culture, active tourism and education, organised by the museum and the municipality of Baldone, which attract visitors of different ages.
