Herberts Dorbe Memorial Museum “Ancestral Dust”

The Herberts Dorbe Memorial Museum was opened in 1989 as a memorial to Ventspils writer Herbert Dorbe (1894-1983), who was a passionate researcher of local history. The house is named 'Senču putekļi' (Ancestors' Dust) after an ethnographic collection the writer donated to the museum in 1970.
