Jaunpils Museum

The exhibition display, located on three floors of the museum, reports the history of Jaunpils District, its manors and Jaunpils palace. Visitors can see mock-up castles of the Livonian Order – Jaunpils and Dobele – as well as replicas of historic weapons and armour, archaeological finds and a coin collection, the Knights’ Cellar and lord of the manor’s cabinet. Art enthusiasts are welcome to visit the museum’s exhibition hall that displays works by professionals as well as local artists and artisans, and occasional flower exhibitions offered by horticulturists. The hall is also used for creative lessons and meetings with exhibition authors.
