Kārlis Skalbe Memorial Museum “Saulrieti”
The Kārlis Skalbe Memorial Museum "Saulrieti" in Latvia is dedicated to the beloved Latvian writer Kārlis Skalbe (1879–1945), whose family used the house as their summer residence from 1926 to 1944. The museum features exhibits on the family's life and history, a fairy tale trail "Ienāc pasakā!", and a bathhouse exposition. The current exhibition "Bēglis" offers an emotional narrative about the Skalbe family's refugee journeys.
