Kurzeme Fortress Museum

Kurzeme Fortress Museum (Kurzemes cietokšņa muzejs) in Zante, Latvia is the only museum dedicated to the Courland Pocket – one of the final battlegrounds of World War II. The exhibition traces the last battles of the war on Latvian soil and the subsequent fate of Latvian soldiers, with collections spanning from the Stone Age to the present. Visitors can also explore the outdoor exhibition, which features restored wartime trenches, bunkers, and heavy military equipment.
