Preiļi Museum of History and Applied Arts

The principal display, “Museum Tales for Latvia”, consists of nine separate stories. Taken together, they recount the history of Preiļi from its early days as a populated site to later development into a town, from prehistoric times into the present day. The display features remarkable and unique historical evidence and invites to play a board game, which involves shopping in the Latgalian language.

Since 2019, visitors can enjoy a free open-air display “Centennial Oak in the Park of Preiļi”.
