Vērgale Parish Museum

Vērgale Parish Museum preserves historical records about Vērgale village. Here you can see a display about the parish and its history – “Vērgale through the Lens of Time”. Visitors can examine locally made agricultural tools and household objects and use a loom to add a couple of rows to an ongoing weaving project – a handmade carpet. The first floor of the building is taken by an open-storage collection. The showroom offers temporary art shows and thematic exhibitions. Tales and stories of the unique chimneypiece will recreate some of the atmosphere from the times gone by. Also, you can take a guided tour around the manor park and the surroundings and relive the key moments from its centuries-long history.
