Batha Museum

Originally an audience palace and summer residence built at the end of the 19th century by Sultan Moulay Hassan I and embellished by his successor Moulay Abdelaziz, the Musée Al Batha was converted into a Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions in 1915 and classified as a national heritage monument in 1924. Its Arab-Andalusian-style buildings in Fes house collections that reflect the city's role as a historic dynastic capital and a meeting point for art, craftsmanship and savoir-faire. The museum is part of the Fondation Nationale des Musées du Maroc network.
