Chinggis Khaan Museum

The Chinggis Khaan National Museum was established in 2019 by decision of Prime Minister U. Khurelsukh and presents the history of Mongolia's successive states from the Hunnu (Xiongnu) Empire through to the early 20th century. The 22,500 m² nine-storey building houses more than 10,000 original artefacts displayed across eight exhibition halls and six storage halls, employing AR, QR, VR and interactive video alongside paintings, sculpture, costume and embroidery. Permanent galleries cover Mongolia's earliest states, the Mongol Empire, its successor states, the Mongol khans of the 15th–20th centuries, and Mongolia's relationship with the wider world.
