Macao Museum
The Macao Museum is a historical and cultural museum located within the Mount Fortress, built by Jesuits in the early 17th century. The museum features three floors exhibiting Western and Chinese civilizations before Portuguese arrival, popular art and traditions of Macao, and contemporary city life. With a vast number of objects of great historical value, it demonstrates the way of life and cultures of the various communities that have inhabited the city for ages. The site also offers panoramic city views and stands near the UNESCO-listed Ruins of St. Paul's.
