Sports and Vintage Aviation Society

The Sports and Vintage Aviation Society museum is a living museum with aircraft restoration and flying of aircraft the main aims. The public can fly in our aircraft by becoming a member of the society for an annual subscription of $50.00. We also house aviation memorabilia, books, etc and have a growing static display of models, engines and instruments. We cater for tour groups as well as individuals. We currently have 4 airworthy aircraft, with 2 more under restoration as well as 4 other privately owned airworthy vintage aircraft on line. All our memorabilia is aviation oriented plus an emphasis on the history of aviation in the Wairarapa in particular as well as New Zealand.
