Central Stories Museum & Art Gallery

Central Stories Museum and Art Gallery is Central Otago's regional museum, art gallery and gift shop located in Alexandra. The building functions as a community hub housing a museum, art gallery, shop and cinema. The collection focuses primarily on Alexandra and the wider Central Otago region. The museum also houses the John McCraw Research Room, a rich resource for staff, volunteers and the public, free to use during museum hours, and collaborates with other regional museums including Clyde Museum, Cromwell Museum, Teviot Museum and Maniototo Early Settlers Museum.
