Jack Morgan Museum

The Jack Morgan Museum is a community pioneer museum located on State Highway 1 at Hukerenui, near Whangarei, Northland. The museum houses a remarkable collection of tools, machinery and memorabilia from the early pioneering days of the Hukerenui area, including stationary motors, farming and household equipment, and forestry artefacts. The collection was assembled over 35 years by Jack Morgan (1916–), a lifelong Hukerenui resident, who gifted it to the community in 2008. Volunteers welcome visitors and can answer questions about the museum's exhibits and the history of the region.
