Comrades Marathon

The Comrades Marathon Museum, run by the Comrades Marathon Association, preserves the heritage of "The Ultimate Human Race" — an annual 90 km ultramarathon between Pietermaritzburg and Durban, South Africa, first run in 1921. The museum showcases historic photographs, memorabilia, and the history of the race, the Wall of Honour, the Spirit of Comrades, and stories of legendary runners. The associated organisation also operates the Green Number Club, charitable initiatives, and the runner's village.
