East London Museum

The East London Museum, in Buffalo City on South Africa's Eastern Cape, is best known as the home of the coelacanth — the "living fossil" fish rediscovered in 1938. Its collections highlight the natural history, maritime heritage and cultural heritage of the region, with offerings for visitors, researchers and school groups alike.
