Huguenot Memorial Museum
The Huguenot Memorial Museum in Franschhoek, Western Cape, commemorates the French Huguenot refugees who settled in the Cape Winelands from 1688 onwards. The museum complex includes the main history museum, the first South African Perfume Museum, the Huguenot Monument, and a nature garden. Collections cover Huguenot genealogy, Cape Dutch furniture, and the cultural heritage of the French settlers who shaped the region's wine, language, and architecture.
