Fundação Maria Luisa e Oscar Americano

The Fundação Maria Luisa e Oscar Americano (FMLOA) preserves the modernist house and seven-hectare park of industrialist Oscar Americano in São Paulo's Morumbi district. The collection focuses on the history of Brazil — particularly the Portuguese court period — with paintings, furniture, decorative arts and a research library. The foundation runs a year-round programme of temporary exhibitions, classical concerts, literary discussions, film screenings and educational activities, and is set in landscaped grounds open to the public.
