The primary concern of the Greek Department was the organization of seminars, scientific meetings and international conferences, the publication of basic textbooks in Greek, the creation of a library and archive and, in general, the development of the various fields of museology. The Greek Department of ICOM collaborates with Higher Education Institutions in Greece and abroad, as well as with other agencies and institutions.
