The zooschweiz association is an umbrella organization for scientifically managed zoos in Switzerland. All zooschweiz member zoos keep and care for the animals entrusted to them at a high level. The educational offering and the commitment to animal, species and nature conservation are exemplary. The annual financial commitment to biodiversity totals over 21 million francs! The ten zoos and animal parks of zooschweiz have over 3.8 million paying visitors every year. The zoos are supported by a total of over 90,000 members in various support associations.
