The Italian Union of Zoological Gardens and Aquariums (UIZA) is a non-profit cultural association which, in accordance with the most modern concepts at an international level, aims to spread the idea of u200bu200bthe Zoological Garden and Aquarium in Italy as a tool for wildlife conservation, as a study and research center and as a school of naturalistic-environmental education.
